John Kargopoulos (aka John K or John Kargo) was born in Thessaloniki, Greece on April 1987. He studied in western Macedonia Computer Applications in Management and Economics.
His first contact with the mixing was at the age of 14,when he started spinning his brother’s records who where studding in UK . Growing up with rock, jazz and hip hop influences and sounds while at the same time started his passion for electronic scene.
Having attended many events and parties with world-class artists from abroad, he decided that he want to be involved in music. At the age of 15 had his first appearance as a DJ in school parties around Thessaloniki .Then he realized from the crowd that he was good at it.
From the age of 18 he began playing at many bars in Thessaloniki and western Macedonia , but started to work professionally because of his studies since 2010 in Home 9-11 (in valaoritou). In this club he found his “Home of music” and has performed with many well known djs as : Agoria, Anestis Sidiropoulos, Ilias Tzikas, Steve Mill, Dpen, Mike Menundo and Nikolas Gale.
In the same time he is making remixes from tracks of well known artists, like Kiko Navarro and Maya Jane Coles and producing his own music which he plays live in front of his crowd. He always wants one thing, pleople love him when he plays for them,so for this reason he is open minded and tries to be a better dj every day.
